Yesterday was the release day of Yakuza 4 and since i preordered it, i got myself some pretty neat swag. Let's go through 'em shall we?

My thoughts of the single will be hopeful. A mature sound from the new members is something that we can hear as an experiment. A reallt good example for this is Do it! Now. It was the 5th GeN's third single since joining the group and the song is fantastic. What i'm hoping for is Tsunku can make a great balance between the new genki girls and the mature, experienced members.

Yes, seems like i cant stay away from Momusu. But not bad for a week of hiatus aint it?
I was soooooooooooo bored trying to occupy myself in non-momusu activities like gaming and working. But day after day, something momusu related always trying to get my attention again:

- Maji desu ka Ska (full song radio rip, bijo gaku dance lesson clip and 10sec PV clip)
- my momusu items i bought from ebay prior my hiatus arrived on my door step
- ppl loving and hating Maji desu ka ska in the H!O forums
- and me getting bored for not rewatching my momusu related vids

Clearly my will is too weak for momusu and i kinda like it that way. Well since im back, imma gonna make some video reviews of the latest momusu stuff i've received in the past week, and you're gonna love it ; )

hmm

i guess i owe an explanation.

i have been a fan of Morning Musume since around early 2009 and since then i have been blessed by the culture of the japanese idol world. More like, Momusu's idol world. The way i can describe it cannot limit by the words im using, you really have to see and listen for yourself. Past, present and the promising future of the group got me loving them for a short but feels like a very long time.

however, i have been questioning about the nature of the idol world. About the purpose of idol doing what they do. Which is, to my understanding, is to idolize them. And i do! Oddly enough, i'm a 25 year old guy, prior to discovering Momusu, thought music is just artists throwing out hit after hit and not much else. I watch them talk about stuff in late night shows but i didnt really care for them on what they say. Momusu on the other hand broadened my view japanese entertainment.
Momusu can dance and sing and make interesting conversations. They are more than just idols, they really are entertainers.

However,

Can they be a success without one of those skills? Can Momusu still exist if they cant sing, dance or act? Act? im sure they can do without them being in low budget movies. Dance? all depends of the song they are singing. Sing? ho ho ho!

Us fans, mainly non japanese fans, got ourselves to like Momusu by watching PVs and listening to mp3s. We all got reeled in my the music composed by one guy who has a male symbol on his name. Their success is based on the songs they perform and the promotion they do along with it. It is proved time and time again that they have achieved 'Top of the idol world' status. Not in the past years though. Once Yossie and Mikkity left, the 9nin Momusu had to re-established themselves as the current Momusu and struggled to continue to perform. And what got them active this far is by the dedicated japanese and non japanese fans. We all buy their singles, watch their PVs and attend their concerts. We love their personality and their performance ability.

So here is my theory:

Momusu can still exist even without my fandom.

The way i show my fandom is buying their singles and albums and boost the morale of other fans and get hyped for what things to come. Recently, I have been hyping up Maji desu ka Ska to my friends and the blogging/forum community. And by the sound of the previews, it'll be a great addition to the 44 singles Momusu has produced so far. Maybe hinting a revival after the loss of EriJunLin last year. And i am too excited for Momusu of 2011 and onwards.

My experiment:

I've decided to shut myself off from anything h!p related. I have packed away my cds and posters and deleted mp3s off my ipod. I have tucked away all the things that will get me back to hype myself up of morning musume. I still have like videos in my burned dvds and hard drive but will is that strong not to watch those.

The result?

I want to see Momusu active and become a trend again, even without me in it. I maybe not that significant but i believe in my Momusu fanmates to keep Momusu fandom alive. I am betting on what Tsunku and UFA will do with the current members and the current members without Ai-chan.

I will be off from hiatus by the end of this year, and to see Momusu has become. Which also means cds and stuff will be plentiful and cheap for me to buy~! LOLs!

Morning Musume to me are more than just idols. They are singers, talents, entertainers and emotionally, My Love.

So for now, I'm off the Joshi Kashimashi train and wait till the same train to arrive again. Hopefully, to draw me back in again.

The name of the new Morning Musume single has just mentioned today. It is titled Maji desu ka Ska. Just hearing the word 'Ska' already got my senses jumping. They have already done a song with a Ska mixed into it was Koko ni Iruzee. So, here's hoping that it'll be a fun song this time around. And with the new 9th gen debut, no doubt it'll be interesting.

Do ya feel it? The scent of good things to come in 2011? To be honest, I am almost too excited that i wanna travel to the future just to see new albums from both the current and OG musumes. Even though the new DreamMoMusu album is a remastered of OG songs, but you guys forget how awesome their singing ability are. Yet, at the same time, I am too curious on the new MoMusu line-up's sound will be. So I am getting both albums, no fuss about that XD

The Graduates

Late last year, Eri Kamei, Jun Jun and Lin Lin all graduated from Morning Musume at the final day of their Rival Survival concert. It is only a month from then got me reminiscing about them and how much they have contributed to the group. Now I feel like saying a bunch of notable moment that shined my fandom of these girls. So yeah, lets get started:

Eri Kamei

Notable Moment 1: Gakikame Theater (Haromoni@)

Part of Haromoni@ recurring video corner, this is the most look forward part in the episode. This is where Risa and Eri perform miracle shots by performing blind throws like, throwing two hangers to a clothesline, or throwing a purse onto a moving bicycle. In reality, they had to perform multiple tries just to get the one shot that succeed. My all time favorite Eri throw is the umbrella throw. It may not be the hardest to perform, but I liked how the final shot that made it. If ya havent seen it yet, then you gotta dood!

Notable Moment 2: Eric Kamezou's Maido Arii (Hello! Morning)

This was back in the days when Eri first cut her hair short. The 'Eric Kamezou' look. This is a special corner where Eri tries to sell the latest Hello! Project goods to the local household (mainly Nakazawa). This, personally, is my look forward part of the Hello! Morning series. This made Eri's character as a somewhat insistent and funny character. The quick bantering between her and Nakazawa are just pure comedy gold. She started off just wearing an ordinary business suit, but later transitioned to casual wear. I didnt mind at all. All i want is the Maido Arii dance she performs at the end of the corner, and at times, get others involved in her unscripted chereography.

Notable Moment 3: English Lesson (Hello! Morning)

Notable Moment 4: Haru Beautiful Everday (Sexy 8 Beat)

This is a song by a duet of Eri Kamei and Aika Mitsui. Both em them performed this very well in the album and concerts. When Eri songs this line, "sugoku suteki suki yo" my mind just echoes on how beautiful she sang. And for this to be her last solo song in Momusu just make you teary. Though i didnt, >__>

Jun Jun

Notable Moment 1: Reina - Jun Jun - Sayumi Skit (Morning Musume DVD Magazine Volume 23)

An unplanned skit they made while they were on standby during a photoshoot for Platinum 9 Disc. The skit is about Jun Jun getting caught for two-timing. This gave me the great mental image that she's Reina's boyfriend. But there a times in the dvd where she acts sexy and cute. Truly a dvd you need to watch!

Notable Moment 2: Jun Jun's Super Girl audition

This was a clip of Jun jun during her audition int he Super Girl Contest. Just to let you know, she didnt make it : \ But from this, Tsunku had hold up a Momusu audtion with some of the rejected applicants. Funny how things turned out eh? This video is the first non-UFA broadcast of a Momusu member before they joined. It just amazes me that she made it in and now we are all glad we have her. Had her.

Notable Moment 3: Bananas (various)

Jun Jun loves bananas. If you think you're a hardcore banana lover, then you're a chump coz Jun Jun loves it more than you do!

Notable Moment 4: Similar identities with Sayumi (various)

This is a often topic within the agency Momusu is in. The somewhat dispute between Sayu and Junjun had been mentioned in radio and tv shows. This was about Sayu having an established face on her role in morning musume as a long black haired cutesy girl. In her view, Junjun is copying her for having not changing her hairstyle since she joined. Junjun rebuts that she feels comfortable the way she is then and had no plans to change. Sometimes even the managers often try to convince Junjun to change her hairstyle. It was only the first half of last year, Junjun has already dyed her hair. We may never know why the real reason she changed it, but this has been an interesting "feud" between Momusu members.

Lin Lin

Notable Moment 1: Otaku-ness (various)

She's pretty much a lover of all things manga an anime. She would often say that she learn a great deal of japanese from just reading and watching anime material. She also advices to watch some for others who want to learn japanese too. My notable moment of her in this was her appearance with Mari Yaguchi in a tv chow that quizzes One Piece. It was an answer question show to show how hardcore the contestants are about One Piece. This show made me think, "Ah, she's hardcore."

Notable Moment 2: Haroten Exam (Morning Musume DVD Magazine Volume 25)

This DVD was about having Morning Musume take on the Haroten Exam. This has Ai Takahashi, Eri Kamei, Sayumi Michishige and Reina Tanaka as the contestants, and Linlin as the host. This video gave me the most insight to the different faces of Linlin, all of which is her being happy, funny and silly. She did a marvelous job as a host and gave more respect to her as an entertainer.

Notable Moment 3: Aozora ga Itsumade mo Tsuzuku You na Mirai de Are (Platinum 9 Disco)

This was also mentioned in the Junjun Linlin graduation dvd special. Linlin pointed out her memorable song. When she mentioned that, it also reminded me her part in the concert. It was a slow version of Aozora ga... where she nailed it. NAILED IT! when i first watched the concert before, it gave me the idea of having solo songs for each member, or give Linlin a major center role in one of the future singles. She truly was a powerhouse in singing.

Notable Moment 4: Linlin's Heart of Gold (various)

This is basically a honest description in Linlin's personality, which we all may take for granted. She did have an innocent heart where her selflessness has touched the members. The one most notable member who can recall this was Sayumi. This was a time when Sayu and Linlin went out together. They ate out in a restaurant, and before leaving, Linlin payed for the both of them. Though she was a kouhai to Sayumi, Linlin insistent on paying. This touched Sayumi and my heart at the same time. Plus, you can see Linlin in tv interviews and other shows that she has uncorrupted heart. She may act goofy and pull out one-liner jokes, she does all this to give the lighter mood to everybody. This in turn, is a very good trait to have in a exhausting entertainment world. She is truly BachiLinLin!

FINALLY! Introducing the 9th GeNeration Morning Musume members~!

The short lived 5 member Momusu is now abruptly ended by the announcement of the new joining members. Prior the announcement, a special episode of Bijo Gaku featured the audition and training camp for the finalists. The finalists were: Erina Ikuta (a tall shy 13yr old), Kanon Suzuki (the acting ready girl with a mole on her cheek), Riho Sayashi (the winner who acted with Momusu in the play, Fashionable), Minami Mogi (a teary individual), and Aina Otsuka (a girl with potential).
After pressing the refresh button on the main page of H!O, focusing on the Twitter section, the winners are revealed to be:

And to add into the group, Tsunku added a H!P Egg. A member of the unit Shugo Chara Egg:

My initial thoughts were, "NO WAY! NOWAAAAAAY!!!". I leapt off my seat and stared hard at the screen confirming the names of the new members. Tsunku clearly picked the ones who had the most of what they can contribute to the group; talent, singing and dancing ability and of course, character. So I start now my acceptance of the new members by initially knowing nothin about the girls, and that includes the Egg, Mizuki. Im having great expectations from the audition girls. Riho with her gifted dancing ability and presence. Kanon with her genki attitude. Erina with her tall mysteriousness.

So that's pretty much it. Now we gotta wait till the new members go through the intense training to catch up with the current members.

Well, not THAT lazy.... kinda. During in the middle of 2010, I had proclaimed to do a whole lot of side projects to do. Let's list them shall we?

- Canvass Shoe designing

- Namidacchi OPV

To recall, i was trying to design blank canvas shoes and try to sell em online. Well, is it sad to say that my design skills has escaped me and my talent is temporarily on halt. It really cant be helped if im facing an 'artist's block', yeah? Same goes with the Iscariot85 fanfic. I had alot of neat ideas in the storyline. But i currently lack the skill to actually string all of the ideas in a smart, appealing way. I really cant make a story that has too much random events and will make the reader to confused and not be entertained. So i'll come back to work on these two things once i get my 'drive' back on again.

Hello! Dood! BITES!..... this was actually a shorter version of my podcast, Hello! Dood! This show was planned to feature just one H!P item and give a review about it. And this featured the start of making videos of myself (coz making a slideshow of text is tiring to create and video is much less editing to do). I cant give a good reason why i stopped making H!Dbites episodes but starting next year, Hello! Dood! will return and youll get weekly content. Just not now though. Im working with a slow/obsolete PC, so I really need to figure out what reliable programs i can use to create my episodes for each week. For something to look for soon is my Hello! Dood! Awards. I m gonna make a 'BEST OF' of all the H!P stuff released this year and crown the Best Song of 2010 and Best H!P Group 2010. Exciting, no?

Namidacchi OPV. Clearly, i love this song. I had planned to make an OPV for Namidacchi earlier this year. I had a general idea on how the OPV will be presented and the style i'd use. But during the start of the production for this, i had numerous 'speed bumps'. On was the lyrics and figuring out who sang what parts. It was confusing to figure out but necessary coz the animation used for this opv includes lip-syncing. Second is the style and implementation. I cant reveal the style im gonna use, so you gotta wait till i finish the opv. The problem i faced is the method/techniques that im gonna use with the style. This lead to ugly animations and inconsistency. This frustrated me so much that I put this project on hold. I havent got back to work on this opv for months.

So now, lately, I had reflected on what should i do before the end of this year. And I decided to dedicate my remaining spare time from now till the end of 2010 to start the actual Namidacchi OPV and create the final product. What drove me to do this was the MM. This year, 2010, i decided to make Namidacchi the final swansong for this current lineup of Momusu members. It was thanks to this lineup that really made the song work. This song is both heart-moving and fun to sing, especially signing with other fans. Truly a great song for all MM fans. And i hope that this OPV can capture the hearts for the ppl who watch it and get them to experience the Namidacchi FEVER LOL!!

After saying all of that, I do get distracted from completing this. Because, Im currently playing Minecraft(an addictive PC game), Last Window (an awesome mystery DS game) and replaying Star Ocean 3 for the ps2 (a RPG that i was hooked during my high school days).

Stay tuned later on this year for both the Hello! Dood! Awards and the Namidacchi OPV by the end of this year. That's with playing Star Ocean 3 between breaks lols!

H!P 2010 rundown by GeN

I just came home from work and i am freaking tired. Also, i have noticed that i should post more often so anyway, letssa go!

Since Im in a reminiscing mood, I'll give ya a quick lowdown of the H!P news and my views about them. Note that i'm gonna list them as topics in no particular order since im very not sure when these events occur. So suck it up guys, it's for free!

OLD HELLO! PROJECT NEWS!!!!!

- S/mileage debuts~!

Starting off as back up dancers in Mano Erina's PVs had gave Tsunku enough confidence that they will become a full fledged main H!P group. Tsunku gave them a task to collect 10,000 photos of smiles from ppl from the street and even recruited ppl online. It was even open to international fans so I admittedly participated as well. During their hunt for smiles, they released their last indie song, Otona ni Narutte Muzukashi. This song had TOTALLY changed my mind about them and made me give them alot of encouragement to debut. I think it was announced during a Erina's concert (not sure) that they finally succeed their 10,000 smiles and graduated from the H!P Eggs.

From then on, I had a large expectation for their first major single and PV to make sure my smile was worth it. And it did XD~! Their debut song, Yumemiru 15sai was a super catchy song that made my impression of them go higher. Then their hits came one after another, Ganbaranakutemo Eenende and Onaji Jikyū de Hataraku Tomodachi no Bijin Mama are great songs which now solidifies my impression of them as one of my favourite H!P groups. We'll see how they fair in my Best of H!P dood awards at the end of this year.

- Mano What?

Not gonna mention much about Erina this year but a few noteworthy things about her had made me change my impression on her again.

Let's start off with her acting side of her career. She started this year with her own weekly show, Habun Esper. The plot involves Erina having psychic type powers and try to live in the normal outside world. The show mainly consist of herself solving everyday issues and at times, be part of a judging panel and a ... radio host? LOL At the least other H!P members come in each episode to also give their acting flair, mainly Morning Musume and S/mileage.

She also co-starred in a mobile show called, Death Game Park but i have yet to see other episodes than the first one. So i cant really comment more about that. But it did give her acting in a different direction. The more serious and hard type attitude, other than her usual cheery persona.

Now lets focus on her singing career. After looking at the attractive single cover of Onegai Dakara, it made me half expect her song to be good. More like, hoping to break her mould of bland singles so far. The PV came out and made me finally cheer for her fully now. Even though it is mostly her with the vocoder effect, i didnt care coz the overall song had went straight in to my heart. Onegai Dakara gets a major thumbs up!

Erina's latest song, Genkimono de Ikou! Had now added a great streak of better Mano Erina songs. The song has a full upbeat feel to it with brilliant instrumentals. The normal PV itself wasn't as exciting as her Director's Cut version. The DC version of the PV included drama parts which amuses me of the different scenarios you get to see. Mano Erina with a whip may set the hearts on fire for the weirdos with whip fetishes lol

- Berry C-ute~!!

Lets talk about Berryz first since i've got not much to say about themm, sadly. Most of their songs this year are songs for the anime show, Inazuma Eleven. I have no idea what the anime is like but apparently the Berryz got the eding themes covered. The songs this year that got back into the Berryz mood this year was Otakebi Boy WAO and Maji Bomber. Maji bomber has the infectious chorus taht you cant ignore. GO AHEAD! TRY TO IGNORE IT! YOU CANT, CANT YOU?! HAR HAR HAR!!! anyways, the PV of both Otakebi Boy and Maji Bomber are fun to watch, more with the latter, coz Tokunaga's new look is interesting to see.
Speaking of newer look, Risako's look with her new collaboration with Ogawa Mana in the song, Elegant Girl made give her a thumbs up. Up until now, Risako's image was very iffy on me, especially in PVs and photobooks and stuff. Seeing her now in the PV for Elegant Girl instantly came to mind and say, "This look IS Risako Sugaya". her hairstyle is 'eregantly awesome!!' She looks like a anime character with a rich family background that is a skyrocketed her popularity in school, and you wish she was your girlfriend. Durrrrr!!

C-ute during the most of this year had made me want something more from them.

They started 2010 with a song that was very odd move by Tsunku. When I watched the actual PV, it made me think of the upcoming Airi bash from both non-Airi and Airi fans alike. This weird move is the single, SHOCK! Airi mainly sings the song. I think you misheard me. AIRI MAINLY SINGS THIS SONG. She covered all of the verses and the choruses with the rest of the group serving as back up. I could give a rant about this arrangement but the fans from various forums are much more entertaining to read. But what kills me about this is the song is not that good for me though. I wasnt as hooked with this song than say, Forever Love.

C-ute continued to release a lackluster song called Campus Life umare kite yokatta. This song didnt set my heart on fire either. My faith in C-ute for realeasing great songs had waned down, maybe even consider lower their rank in my top favourite H!P groups. This has nearly turned around with their latest song, Dance de Bakoon! A song that made me say, "FINALLY! A great C-ute song this year!" I love the rhythm and the verses in the song. And the choreography in the PV went really well with the chorus. This also upped my favourites in C-ute, mainly Maimi and Chisato. Both performed well in the song and PV. TOO CUTE, C-UTE~!!

- Good old Morning Musume~!

This is a small Morning Musume OG corner where i know little about they're current activities but ill try to list some stuff of what they did this year:

- Koharu, now an OG, have a comfortable weekly spot in Oha Star and she has dyed her hair XD. some ppl dont like her new look, but i think it suits her, her and her loud personality.
- OGs comes back to Utaban with Momusu, which that OGs got most of the spotlight (noted that the MVP for the show was Junjun and Linlin). OGs appeared in the last episode of Utaban and had appeared in The Music Hour, promoting the song for the CM they did.
- Yossie participated in a fun run held here in Sydney in September. I had totally missed it coz i was busy with somethin else at the time. I just wanted to see her there, not to run though XD Durrrrr!!
- Tsuji cameo'd in S/mileage's --Bijin Mama PV. Also, news of her that another baby is on they way. DAYUM~!!
- Konno announced that she'll start her voice work for TV Tokyo next year. The type of work that she's gonna be in is still unclear but with her soft cute voice, im all ears listening to what she has to say.
- Maki Goto's mom had passed away early this year which had her music career stopped for a period. OGs participated to the wake. This was covered in photos and a few tv news clips. After she regains her confident to go back to her music career, she first made a Ustream performance and sang a few songs. I was watching it on ustream, made me like some of her songs now. Mainly Houseki and Eyes.

- Morning Musume UP! DOWN! and ALL AROUND!

I cant think of any Morning Musume album that i've liked all the way through. Platinum 9 Disco came close though. But even albums during the golden days didnt get my solid thumbs up since there only some of the songs that i actually liked. This year, Morning Musume released their 10th album called 10 My Me. I started to listen to the album with an opened mind hoping that both Momusu and Tsunku can still push themselves to create an album without Koharu (save for a few songs released last year durrr). I fell in love with this album. Wait, to be more precise, I LOVE NAMIDACCHI. This song made me realise why i love love love Morning Musume in the first place and why I love their style of singing. This put the fun back into Morning Musume being more likeable. You cant help sing this with your buddies or chant together in a MM concert encore.
Which leads me to their Pika Pika concert tour. When I watched this concert, i can feel the energy in all of the songs they sang. The singles, their new songs in the 10 My Me album, the medley, HAR HAR HAR! FUN TIMES! GeN loves the encore this time. Though it had How do you like Japan agian, but this version is waaaay better. makes ya jump! And then the encore finishes off with Namidacchi and everybody agrees that this some made the entire concert floor jump and shout together. TOO MUCH FUN! Seeing the members go nuts while seeing gave me chills of joy everytime i watch it XD~! Members worth noting during this concert are Eri and Sayumi. Sayu looks soooooooooo good with her ponytail during the Medley and the white outfits during the Genki Pika Pika parts. Eri is soooooo extra bouncy (not the chest area fellas), more like, jumping around and stuff, especially during the encore songs.

A shocking announcement during the Fankora HP concert. Tsunku gives us the sad news of Eri graduating at the end of this year. Due to a harmful skin condition, she chose not to continue to do more activities in the future. AND ALSO,Junjun and Linlin are going back to china, so they're graduating as well! GAWD! After reading the news for the first time, I couldnt believe it. I was like, pacing around in my house saying, "no way.... nowaaaaay..... NO WAAAAAAY~!!!" Seeing the pic of Morning Musume and their sad looks made me sad too, awwwwwww. In a lighter note, Tsunku realises the big draw back about the mass graduation, that leaves five members left. So he announces the official 9th GeNeration auditions. This is something that we all wished for ages but at the price of losing three of the most funniest members in Momusu. Recent news that the auditions had finished the second stage and begins narrowing down more in the third stage. I'm now anticipating with glee XD
Eri is now getting the most attention by UFA now coz of her gradutation. She is now busy releasing more and more photobooks, one of herself, one with her fellow 6th GeN members. I guess UFA figured to go all out as a great big send off for Eri, which in a way is kinda neat. She has released alot of PBs this year. The down side of this is that junjun and Linlin arent getting much attention in terms of "last great thing" they can release. Actually, nothing at all : \

but hey! more news! A new single from Morning Musume is gonna release soon and ANOTHER ALBUM to be released in December. OH WAIT! i forgot to review Seishun Collection! well here's my review: "Fun but Meh" durrrr! It doesnt matter coz Momusu's upcoming new single, Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game is much more better. The moment i heard the concert rip, it gave me chills on my skin and gave me large thumping in my heart by just hearing the instrumentals. The PV for it was an even better experience coz it draw me in back to the old Morning Musume style of PV making. Meaning, colorful backgrounds and colourful outfits and the fun to imitate choreography. This is easily my favourite PV this year, with Yumemiru 15sai coming second XD

11 songs for the 11th album. Fitting, no? I'm having high expectations for this album since all of the recent songs from H!P greatly improved and more likeable for me personally. Especially I'm having so much fun relistening to 10 My Me and rewatching the Pika Pika concert. Tsunku truly upped his game this year!

So there you have it, dood! My input of some of the H!P stuff that occurred this year. Alot of ups and downs and all arounds, makes ya dizzy by just thinking back. Ah wait, lemme just quickly say a couple of minor H!P things as well:

- Is Tsunku giving H!P a torture ride? This year, he got Risa, Erina, Nakky, Aika starr in horror movie titles and most likely get their characters killed LOL

YAY! I have finally go my late birthday gift XD So today, I'll give ya a quick run through of the total H!P stuff i have so far. Just so you know, these are the things that i like to have and worth buying for. So let's get started!

The Best Buono!

- This is a Limited edition version of the album that includes the best songs (according to UFA D: ) and coupling tracks.
- It didnt have Gachinko de Ikou! *siiiiiigggghhhh*, but it did include the main theme for my Hello! Dood! podcast, My Love.
- Also came with a DVD that included the Making Of of the album cover and see Buono! play Old Maid.
- The song lyrics is handwritten by the girls but not the coupling songs : \

Morning Musume Coupling Collection (Limited Edition)

- It comes with a box cover that shows all 25 members of momusu of what they looked like when they first joined. The album cover shows all the members and what they looked like when hey graduated.

- The lyric booklet is kinda weak
- This edition includes a mini photobook. It has photos of the current members and details about the former members and also included a timeline as well.

Minecraft

This game is pretty much a ......... mining simulator + building simulator + pixel block motif??

It's pretty hard to gauge how awesome and simple this game is. To have a block character, you and your pixelated hand and go do some mining shit. Whatever the stuff you mine, you actually get to use it to build watever building of weirdass structure you want. But this is only available if you pay for the FULL alpha version, which i sadly dont have ;-__-

.....HOWEVER!

A classic 'Free Build' mode is accessible for guests and newcomers (thats if you installed Java applet in your comp) to experience how simple the building feature of the game. This is not the real game though, but it provided me alot of fun making my own crazy crap.

So as a fan of MoMusu, I had made just a simple homage to them in Minecraft. Sorry that i didnt bother cropping the pics, so you may have to click on em to enlarge. Enjoy the pics~!

wow, havent posted anythin for like months now. it's not like anybody is still following ( -___-)

Anyways, now im in a great mood to continue posting again~!

What i'll do for this post is to bring ya up to speed in some of the H!P news and reviews of games that ive been experiencing this year. And it's gonna old news so this may roll your eyes in boredness - how do you even roll your eyes like that? doesnt that stress your eyes? lol

First up, GAMING~!

- Plants vs Zombies
who knew our last line of defense against the zombpocalypse are plant seeds :\

Yes yes, i know its a game released last year but i started to take interest of it now since alot of ppl recommend playing it. To put it simply: it's an active desktop tower defense of plants vs zombies. What i meant by active is that unlike any other DTD games, you are not just watching your defnse beat out the zombies. instead, you are always trying to gather enough sun and constantly beefing up your defense and always rearranging your offensive plants. This game is both deep and fun. This has lead me to finish the main game over 6 times over now. This game is addictive to GeN. Like what others say, "I really recommend playing Plants vs Zombies"

- Super Street Fighter 4
HADOKEN! SHORYUKEN! SONIC BOOM! YOGA FLAME! PSYCHO CRUSHER! TIGER!

This is the expanded version of Street Fighter 4 last year. It has more characters from previous Street Fighter games plus two new characters. ppl say that they tweaked the gameplay a bit but i cant tell lols. i havent played SF4 that much so i can recognise the little differences. But still, this game is now fun to play. I started playing this coz i watched on some of the matches during this year's EVO. EVo is a tournament open to the world. The biggest names in street fighter style games came to participate to versus each other in this better version of SF4. Watching the matches in youtube had inspired me to play much better in SSF4 and often played online in XBOX Live. ppl are still better than me though....(stupid 360 controller X\)

- Yakuza 3 (jp name: Ryu ga Gotoku 3)
Like a dragon~! Touched for the very first time~! Like a dra-a-a-a-gon~!

The sequel of 2008's Yakuza 2 in the PS3 and THE only game that can immerse you in modern day tokyo. An open world of the red light district in tokyo that has limited yourself into a few block radius. But this does not limit you seeing the exquisit detail of authentic aesthetics of the tokyo streets.

This game have a movie style plot of a yakuza flick which keeps you guessing and hitting unsuspecting twists. Between each plot cutscenes, you get to explore and experience that Tokyo and Okinawa has to offer. This can range from completing side quests taken from strangers in need to hitting a couple of swing in a batting cage or getting you ball out of a sandtrap.

Also in the streets, there are loitering thugs that think you owe them money or some lame ass excuse for us to kick their asses. The battle system in this is pretty simple to master the deep move list that your yakuza hero can perform. What makes you drive to fight more is the HEAT actions. This executes the many uses of objects that you can pick up and deal massive bone crunching and nose bleeding hard hitters on your helpless foe.

The dedication of this japanese experience made by the developers is unbelieveable. It is unfortunate that they took out some of the activites that they think us western audiences cant comprhend, like hostess clubs and mah jong. I truly recommend this game for ppl who have a keen interest in japanese culture and want to explore the world of the yakuza. And also, there is a free demo in the PSN store. You hear that? THE DEMO FOR YAKUZA 3 IS FREAKIN FREEEEE!!!!!!

- Final Fantasy XIII
The most hyped RPG for 2010. Was it worth the wait?

Old Final Fantasy verterans have turn some heads from the gameplay choice that is embeded into this game. This "RPG" involves a couple of characters that live in the world of Cocoon. Each having a doomed curse upon them and they have to "find a way" to get rid of it, while also trying to save their loved ones who has also been doomed by this fate as well. This kind of story would have been in a more epic scale but failed the most strenuous close minded thinking in most, no wait, all of the characters. There are times that made me want to skip cutscenes coz all they did is whine and talk poetically about their views in life. i know that alot of the japanese RPGs fans eat that stuff up but this would not fly into worldwide appeal.

But what is impressive though is some of the detail of the backgrounds and graphics in the game. Though i say "some" because travelling long straight paths between each hotspots had burned out the creativity of the level designers. cutscenes are truly boastful, up to the Square-Enix's standard of gorgeous cinematics.

The battle system is the most flashiest turn-based type yet. Though it suffers by limiting on one character vital to the fights and what each character's set jobs that they have equipped.

But after all the great flashy things that are present in this game, I ended up hating on this game. It didnt give me the amount of fun of 30+ hrs ive put into it. Square-Enix has self indulge themselves into making a very casual gameplay oriented RPG. There's no true exploration around the world, the job system and items arent as deep unlike its' predecessors. The story blew ass. Well, to be fair, i 'thought' this story would go somewhere but after finishing it, it was a TOTAL LETDOWN. The story wasnt deep after all :\ I have only finished it coz i was playing it with my friend at the same time and he finished first. I was kinda close to beating it, so i did finish it. That gave me the absolute right to say, "FUCK THIS GAME!" And i know ppl who may differ from by saying, "you dont understand the genius of this game. make sure you finish it until it opens up", but I did finish it and made me bitter that i have not got any fun out of it.

- Professor Layton and the Unwound Future
Join our favourite professor and his apprentice to discover the world in the future.

Right after the previous Professor Layton game, us fans have been starving for another brain teaser game. It only took a full year to finally give us another hit of Layton crack into our veins. This game is the final of the curent trilogy of Professor Layton, which has made this the best layton to date.

The game starts off by Layton receiving a mysterious letter from the future, both Layton and Luke are transported through time, 10 years in their city of London. As a avid fan of solving puzzles and mysteries, he and Luke are forced to travel around London to expose the threat to the city. As fun as the story maybe, the true fun actually lies in the thing that you'd be doing the most, solving puzzles!

The puzzles range from simple logic questions, graphic questions, mutliple choice, sliding puzzles, and the all time favourite, math puzzles :\ After hearing some of the complaints from fans about certain puzzle types in the previous layton games, those particular types are reduced in this game. Unwound Future have over 100 puzzles and 3 new side puzzles. Hint coins are aplenty because it introduces the Super Hint. Normally, you get three hints (each cost one hint coin)while solving a puzzle. A Super Hint (costing 2 hint coins) basically pretty much spells out what you need to do to solve it.

This game is polished like crazy. This game has the most voice acting than any other DS game that ive played. The characters and backgrounds have a nice auburn cellshaded design. The music in this game is very atmospheric that sets the mood of the event or location and the repetitive sound cue of telling you whether you have the correct answer or not. This game is a buy for fans that are willing to make youself sit for hours for just solving brain teasing puzzles. I now wait for the next Professor Layton game that is part of a prequel trilogy of the first professor layton game.

That is pretty much my highlight games since my last post. Ill come back another day to give my views on some of the Hello! Project news and singles/albums that has been released this year.

TerryAA: You sure are an enigma. I've only met you in the forums and now I know you're in some illegal business.

Iscariot85: Like I told you dood, this place is legit. We're only here to ask Madelene to identify this symbol.

Kamomo: Are you sure she knows something about this?

-Kamomo looks at the picture GeN drew
-from off screen, a thing was dropped in the middle of the mahjong table. it was something wrapped with a brown cloth

TerryAA: What's that? It looks nasty.

-Iscariot85 reaches the wrapped thing and unwraps
-a shot of both Kamomo and TerryAA with a surprised look on their face

Kamomo: That's--

-a shot of the unwrapped thing, revealing to be a gun with the same symbol Iscariot85 drew

TerryAA: That's the same gun that guy used during the robbery. I'm betting he was using it to manipulate Gaki-san and Ai-chan.

-Madelene walks into frame

Madelene: This was actually from a man that was here a few months ago. I don't think it's the same person from what you said.

Kamomo: Oh? Are you sure?

Madelene: Yep. The original owner of this gun died here in the mahjong floor.

-Kamomo and TerryAA froze on the spot with shock, while Iscariot85 seemed unphased by the news
-Kamomo and TerryAA just stared with fear at Madelene
-Madelene said, flustered

Madelene: Hey hey! I didnt kill him! He died from a heart attack.

TerryAA: A heart attack?

Madelene: Yeah. He was in his early thirties. He came in to play in our mahjong floor. During his first game, the other players that was playing on the same table as him described that he was really nervous. They said that during the game, he would periodically checks his watch and kept asking for iced water. When they were approaching at the end of the game, he grabbed his chest and fell to the floor.

Kamomo: So what did you do then?

Madelene: I called for the ambulance. I did that right after I searched for his belongings to check for some identity. But all he had was this gun and a note with something written on it.

TerryAA: You kept his gun?

Madelene: Why not? I figured if he's dead, he wouldn't have needed to use this. And besides..

-Madelene suddenly picks up the gun and aims at Iscariot85
-Kamomo and TerryAA pushed back away from Madelene afraid of being shot
-Iscariot85 again is unphased by his sister's action
-She puts the sights on her brother's temple
-She then pulls the the trigger repeatedly
-No shots was heard, just empty clicks are heard repeatedly from the gun

Madelene: When that guy came in here to play, he didnt carry any bullets with him.

Iscariot85: Enough with the theatrics. Do you still have the note?

-Madelene stares at Iscariot85 and then puts down the gun to the table. She gives out a sigh

Madelene: Always to the point. Eh, 85?

Iscariot85: The more time we waste, the more the Morning Musume members will be in trouble.

Madelene: Okay okay.

-Madelene pulls out a note from her rear pocket

Madelene: This came along with the gun from the dead guy.

-She hands the note to Iscariot85
-Iscariot85 begins reading it

Iscariot85: "0825 - Aruiteru"

Kamomo: Aruiteru?

TerryAA: Morning Musume's 31th single?

Madelene: Oh, is that what the note meant? A song from your idol group of yours?

-Nobody says a word
-after the short silence, Iscariot85 stand up

Iscariot85: We're leaving. You guys wait for me downstairs in the kitchen.

TerryAA: Huh? Why?

Iscariot85: We've got all the info that we get from here.

Kamomo: Alrighty then.

-Kamomo turns to Madelene

Kamomo: Thanks for your time.

Madelene: No worries. I'll be waiting for your next catalogue.

-Kamomo smiles getting ready to leave
-TerryAA takes the symbol drawing as he leaves the room first
-As Kamomo exits the room second
-the room is left with Iscariot 85 standing and Madelene sitting on the opposite other side form him

Madelene: Why are you still here? Shouldn't you go with your friends and play detective?

Iscariot85: I should, but I still have a feeling that you're hiding something from me.

-Madelene stays quite for a moment

Madelene: Ha ha ha! That's my 'lil bro!

-Madelene picks up the gun again, she justs observing it

Madelene: The man who died here, didnt die from an any old heart attack.

Iscariot85: oh?

Madelene: When I checked his body, his temperature was alot higher than normal. But as his breathe escaped him, his temperature dropped down to being dead as a doornail. When I checked his wrist for a pulse, I noticed a discoloration on his fingertips and his lips begins to crust up. And the most weirdest thing about it, -

-Iscariot85 remains silent

Madelene: He died roughly around 8:25pm.

Iscariot85: ...

Madelene: What ever happened to him before he died, had made him sick and felt the most excruciating pain in the inside. Just take note of that.

-Iscariot85 turns around and head towards the door

Iscariot85: I'll see you when I get back.

Madelene: I'll be at home, waiting for ya 85~!

-Iscariot85 smirks

-The scene changes to the kitchen as TerryAA and Kamomo waits for Iscariot85
-The door opens and Iscariot85 regroups with the team
-Iscariot85 doesn't stop and proceeds to leave the kitchen via the front door, and into the dining area. Kamomo and TerryAA can't help but follow.

TerryAA: Do we even have a new lead where the Morning Musume members are?

Iscariot85: Not yet dood.

-All three of them walk pass the dining area and exits the restaurant entirely

Kamomo: So where do we go next?

Iscariot85: The closest internet cafe near here. We need do a little bit of homework.

TerryAA: Huh? Homework on a Saturday night?

Iscariot85: Ha! Don't worry, it'll get us a clue on where to find the Musumes.

Kamomo: Then homework it is. Care to share us what we need to look for?

Iscariot85: The note from that dead guy said, "0825 - Aruiteru". If my vague calculations are correct, that note refered to the previous time Morning Musume tried to perform a concert here.

TerryAA: You mean the first 'no show' when we were both standing in line for?

Kamomo: I was there too. The moment we went into the theater, the staff announced that the show was cancelled. I remember that we all felt a bit bitter for them just decide like that.

Iscariot85: "0825 - Aruiteru" refered to the setlist that they were performing for their concert tour at the time. The guy who came here in our town on the night that he died, could have been the same night Morning Musume cancelled the show.

TerryAA: Did you ask for the exact date from your sister about what day he died?

Iscariot85: Sorry, I forgot to ask. lol.

Kamomo: So far, the only connection we have between Moring Musume and that dead guy is that note about their concert and the symbol seen in both guns from different people.

NoobToob: Most Offensive 2009

At the end of last year, Tobin wishes that there was a compilation video of the most offensive things said during NoobToob in that year. So he asks the NoobToob army to make one. -scene opens to the streets of Chinatown at night-
-shot focuses on an occupied telephone booth-
-shot of girl?? holding up the receiver to her ear-

voice from in the phone: Orients City Police Department, what is the nature of this call?

girl??: I just saw someone being kidnapped. She is a foreign celebrity named Sayumi Michishige.

voice: Is she one of the missing members of Morning Musume?

girl??: Missing? Were they missing? Since when?

voice??: Where did you see her being taken?

girl??: In Flores Street, a few minutes from the river.

voice: Please hold.

-the other end went silent for a minute-
-the voice returns-

voice: Let me patch you to the detective in charge of this investigation.

girl??: O-okay.

-girl?? hear the line switch-
-a man picks up the phone-

man: Detective Roa. Who is this?

girl??: My name is Daisuki. I'm calling about a kidnapping?

Roa: Oh yes, Sayumi Michishige. Where did you say she was kidnapped?

Daisuki: In Flores Street.

Roa: Was there any other witnesses nearby?

Daisuki: No, it was only me.

Roa: The kidnappers, the two of them, what did they look like?

Daisuki: One of them had short black hair with a nose piercing. And the other had a scar on this left hand. They both wore black business suits and both had dark sunglasses on.

Roa: How close were you to the scene of the crime?

Daisuki: Really close. I was right next to Sayumi when she fainted on the ground. Then a van suddenly stopped by and they snatched her away.

Roa: Did they hurt you?

Daisuki: The one with the scar pushed me hard on the chest. But I'm still okay.

-the detective on the other end of the line went quiet for a few seconds-
-the dectective returns-

Roa: This is what we'll do. I have a couple of mugshots of the suspects related to this case. I want you to come by to the station tonight and ID them for me. Will that be okay for you?

Daisuki: ummm....

Roa: It'll only take a few minutes of your time. The sooner we ID the suspects, the sooner we save Ms. Michishige.

Daisuki: errr... okay.

Roa: Okay good. Where are you calling right now?

Daisuki: At a payphone in Corner Street, Chinatown.

Roa: I'll send a partol car to pick you up from there. Just stand by until the police come, okay?

Daisuki: ...okay

Roa: Thank you very much for your help. I'll see you soon.

Daisuki: 'kay, bye.

-Daisuki hang up the phone-
-She closes her eyes and thought something over her mind-
-she opens her eyes and hurrily leaves the phonebooth-
-a minute of walking away formt he booth, she enters a convinient store-
-she begins searching for something-

Daisuki: Found it!

-she sees the day's newspaper-
-she frantically searches each page of the newspaper-
-the clerk sees what she was doing-

clerk: Hey! Are you going to pay for that?

-Daisuki sees the clerk and approaches him-

Daisuki: Do you have all the newspaper from this past week?

clerk: why would you want those?

Daisuki: Just give them to me. I'll pay form them.

-the clerk sighs and leaves to check the storeroom-
-as the clerk leaves, Daisuki goes to the isle and finds herself a oversized baseball cap and clear-lensed glasses-
-the clerk returns to the ocunter with Daisuki ready to pay for her purchase-

clerk: Here you go. You dont need to pay for these. I was about to throw them out anyway.

Daisuki: Okay, thanks.

-Daisuki begins searching each newspaper, from yesterday's paper to the day before, to two days before and so on-
-clerk just watches her going through each newspaper-
-After Daisuki was done she said to herself-

Daisuki: (Nothing.)

clerk: Are you finished?

Daisuki: Um yeah. Thanks for that.

-She reaches for her purse-

Daisuki: Ill pay for the hat and glasses.

clerk: That's $15.

-Daisuki hand him $20-
-as the clerk arranges her change and receipt, she begins wearing her hat, with half of her hair tucked in-

clerk: Here's your change.

-Daisuki wears her new glasses-

Daisuki: Thanks you.

-She grabs the change and receipt and leaves the store-
-she leaves the counter with a clutter newpaper on it-

-scene focuses on Daisuki as she walks along a more busier street in Chinatown-
-she begins whispering to herself-

Daisuki: (That's weird. Why havent the newspaper printed about Sayumi missing? What's happening to Morning Musume?)

-she sees a few cars pass by her-

Daisuki: (I should sit down and think first)

-her stomach begins to growl-

Daisuki: (Correction. I should sit down and EAT first)

-she looks ahead and sees a chinese restaurant-
-she approaches the restaurant and enters-
-she was greeted by the concierge-

concierge: Table for one?

Daisuki: Err yes please. If you can, one away from the window.

concierge: Certainly.

-the concierge seated Daisuki and gave her a menu to order from-
-screen fades to black-

My kicker adventure~

A week ago, my mom suggested to give me a canvas shoe so I can design it, so i can sell it on ebay. It's not a bad idea actually. I'm just declaring that I'll start designing my first designer shoe. I'll post more about my progress so far. Wish me luck fellas~

I haven't really decided on what the design should be. Havin' a hard time actually. So for now, it stays empty.
In another note, I love solving my Rubik's Cube~!

In the middle of testing some of my old design materials. One third of them dont work anymore, sadly. I might need better ones for this project. I also tried my old ink and caligraphy pen. I had those 'coz I aspired to be a famous manga artist one day. The ink blot on my finger reminded my dedication on drawing with ink. Fun times.

Yeah, working out a plot for a fanfic that was suppose to be a short one, had became a more complicated story than it suppose to be. So, while I'm still working out the story, I might as well draw up some official art for this fanfic.

This is just the initial sketches for the main characters (ignore the sribbled out doodles)

This is a pen sketch of Reina I did a few weeks ago.
Drawing with a pen is hard coz you cant rub out ink.

Gaki-san sketch. I want her to be one of the prominent members that the main characters will talk to.

I'll still work on the art and the fanfic, but mostly the fanfic. I totally am stuck of how the plot should go, but I'll do my best HAR HAR HAR!!!!

girl??: /Hey! Are you alright?!/

-from off screen, a van screeches to a sudden stop-
-the slide door opens and two large men, wearing dark sunglasses, advances toward the girls-

girl??: Hey! Can you guys help her out? She's fainted--

-One of the large men pushes with great force that slams her to the wall behind her, also causing her bike to fall down-

girl??: Aagh!

-the two men picks up Sayumi and drags her into the van-
-the door slides shut and the van drives away-
-girl?? recovers again just as she relizes the van begins to drive away-

girl??: Hey! Get back here!

-girl?? picks up her fallen bike and rides it, chasing the van-

-van passes a few blocks trying to lose the chasing girl-
-van screeches on every corner it turns, slowly losing the girl-
-van approaches the bridge that goes over the town's river-
-the bridge ahead is blocked by a wooden barrier and shows signs of work are currently done to remodel the bridge-
-van drivers through the barrier, breaking it and leaving a huge gap-
-girl?? cycles through the gap and without looking, hits one of the many potholes on the road-
-hitting the pothole lauched both girl?? and her bike into the air-
-girl?? lands on a pile of dirt while the bike falls hard on the ground, bending the frame of the bike and twists one of the tires-

girl??: Ouch...

-girl?? dusts herself off and goes to her bike and examines it-

girl??: There goes my bike. *sigh* No more chasing cars for me.

-girl?? stands in th middle of the empty work site, while feeling a cold breeze-
-the camera slowly zooms out while the girl says-

girl??: It's freakin' cold...

-fade to black-

-fade in into a shot of a taxi driving through the streets of Chinatown-
-shot of inside the taxi have TerryAA, Iscariot85 and Kamomo sitting in the backseat-
-Iscariot85 sitting between the two, apparently drawing on a piece of paper-

Narrator: When we left our heroes, they begin to find more information about the robbers. They are now riding through the neonlight streets of Chinatown...

TerryAA: So, since we don't know where they are, how are we gonna find them?

-Iscariot85 ignores TerryAA as he continues to draw-

TerryAA: Are you listening?!

Iscariot: Yeah, yeah.

Kamomo: Do you have a lead?

-Iscariot stops drawing, showing that he's finished-

Iscariot85: This is our lead.

-the paper shows a drawing of a sun with black wavy rays and a scorpion in the middle of it-

TerryAA: What is that?

Iscariot85: The guns that Gaki-san and Ai-chan were holding were both fake. But the large dood held a very different gun. Assuming that it was real, the man would have used it to make sure the girls did what they did. This special embelishement was printed onto the side of the gun. I had assume that it was custom-made. This also gives me a hint that his exclusive choice of weaponry made him part of a crime syndicate.

Kamomo: Wow. You picked up all that in the parlour?

TerryAA: I was busy trying not to die and you're apparently enjoying this.

Iscariot85: I can't really see the joy of watching my favourite j-pop group forced to commit a crime on a night that they should be performing a concert. And besides, it's just a hunch. Maybe his gun might be a toy too.

Kamomo: I doubt it. I rather like your syndicate theory better.

TerryAA: So where exactly are we going?

Iscariot85: Oh! We're here.

-Iscariot85 tells the driver to pull over signaling that they arrived to their destination-
-the group stepped out of the taxi, TerryAA paid for the fare, unhappily-
-display white subheading '7:45 pm'-

-the group stand in front of two chinese restaurants-
-between the restaurants was a gap for a narrow alley leading to the inner part of the block-
-Iscariot85 begins walking into the alley-

Iscariot85: Follow me guys.

-the group walks in the narrow alley for a few seconds, leading them to a door lit by a wall lamp-
-Iscariot85 walks up to the small flight of steps while the other two followed suit-
-the door was steel and covered with rust. the door also had a small sliding peeking window that can be opened from the inside-
-Iscariot85 knocks on the door-
-the sliding window opens to reveal a set of eyes-

eyes: password?

Iscariot85: Lights Out, Orients City

-the sliding window closes, now beggining to hear the cold steel door unlock form within-
-the door finally opens, behind it stood a man nearly as tall as the ceiling-
-Kamomo and TerryAA were a bit nervous of the man because of his large appearance-

eyes man: It's been a while 85.

Iscariot85: Yeah, yeah.

-Iscariot walks in first and faces the man-

Iscariot85: Is The Vulture here?

eyes man: In the thrid floor, where our boss usually is.

-Iscariot85 faces his two friends-

Iscariot85: Are you two gonna stay here or you're coming with me?

-Kamomo walks inside with TerryAA following her, both not making eye contact with the large man-

-inside the building was at first a small narrow hallway, where they begin to feel alot of savoury smell-
-they turn into a corner and found a busy kitchen, full of cooks preparing meals-
-Iscariot85 didn't stop to look at the busy kitchen and headed left to the left side of the room -
-TerryAA and Kamomo for a moment stood there in awe but catches up with Iscariot85 as he is opening a door infront of him-
-they climbed up to two flight of steps and the smell changed drastically from the smell of food, to the smell of cigarette smoke-
-the flight of steps ended with just another door-
-Iscariot85 grabs the handle and turns to open-
-they are now in a large room full of mahjong tables full of cigarette smoking men-
-they were all seedy looking men, some waited for the next person to play, some were shuffling tiles around, very noisily-
-Iscariot85 gives his friends an advice-

Iscariot85: Try not make eye contact with them. Some of them are really down on their luck and can get a little grumpy.

-taking Iscariot85's advice they try not to look at the people while they cross the room to the other side-
-they arrived to another door and another pair of steps to climb-
-to break the silence TerryAA remarked-

TerryAA: This is one hell of a place. A restaurant as a front for a illegal mahjong parlour.

-Iscariot85, who was putting on a stern face all this time, finally broke out a smile-

Isacriot85: Ha! This is acutally legal mahjong parlour. It's just the customers here make it look too seedy.

-they've reached the door to the third floor and opens another door-
-the door this time leads to a hallway full of doors-
-as they walk inside, one of the doors opened and came out a lady wearing a tight tube top with a stylish extra small miniskirt-
-she was carrying a large plate full of empty beer bottles, she approaches to the door where the group had came through-

skirted woman: Hi, 85! Did you miss me?

-not caring for the warm greeting from the skirted lady, Iscariot85 replied:-

Iscariot85: Is The Vulture here?

skirted woman: The boss is right over there, Room 305. There's a game going on in there.

-the lady diverted their attention to the door with the room number on the right side of the hallway-
-the skirted lady turned to Iscariot85 and reaches close to his ear trying to whisper something, very seductively-

skirted lady: (I'll prepare something warm and hot for you after you're done talking with the boss.)

Iscariot85: No thank you. I won't be here long.

-Iscariot85 just continues to walk towards the door with the numbers 305-
-she looks at Iscariot85 smiling, then towards the other two, who apparently heard what she said-

skirted lady: Take care of him for me okay~ ?

Kamomo: Uhh yeah.

TerryAA: Sure.

-both flustered, TerryAA and Kamomo walks past the skirted lady to join Iscariot85-
-Terry and Kamomo now finally feel they arrive their destination-
-Iscariot knocks and opens the door without a hearing a sign from the inside that he can come in-
-by the door stood a guard about to reach something in his jacket-
-a voice from inside the room can be heard-

voice: It's okay. Let them in.

-the gurad lets them pass to go further inside the room-
-inside the room was four people playing a game of mahjong, three of them were men in their 40s, while one of them is in her late early 30s-
-it appears they've reach at the climax of the game-
-one of the men called out-

man1: Richi.

-and places a tile down-
-the woman sees his tile and layed down all of her tiles-

woman: I win again.

-the three men around her laughed out as they were pleased that she won-

man2: Ha ha ha ha! Thats The Vulture for ya buddy!

man3: 10 consecutive winning hands. It's totally not our night! Ha ha ha ha!

man1: Whatever. I'll get you next time! Ha ha ha ha!

woman: Next time you come here guys, try to bring more than just chump change.

-woman notices Iscariot85 and his friends, then she asks her mahjong buddies-

woman: Do you mind leaving the room? I've got important business to attend to.

-all three men looked at the group and understands and leaves the room, still having a few laughs-
-the woman also told the guard that was standing by the door to leave as well-
-the room is now left with the woman sitting at the mahjong table with the three friends standing across from her-

woman: Take a seat 85. And you guys too.

-Iscariot pulls out a chair and sat across form the woman's side, Kamomo sitting on her right and TerryAA by her left-

woman: What's up with you? You normally don't like coming here.

-staying calm and collected, Iscariot85 responded-

Iscariot85: I want to chase after a man who carries this symbol on his gun.

-Iscariot85 pulls out his drawing of the symbol that he remembered, and gives it to the woman-

Iscariot85: Do you know anything about it?

-the woman picks up the drawing and gives it a close inspection-

woman: How did you come across this man?

TerryAA: We were inside a icecream parlour when he barged in to hold a robbery.

Kamomo: His accomplices were two of the members of Morning Musume.

-the woman looks at Kamomo when she talked-
-the woman's eyes widened-

woman: You're Kamomo!

-the woman pulled back her chair for half a meter with her hands covered her mouth in surprise-
-Iscariot85 remembers something and said to Kamomo-

Iscariot85: Oh yeah. She's one of your hardcore fans.

Kamomo: Huh?

-the woman grabs Kamomo's hand and held it with a big smile on her face-

woman: I'm such a fan of your work! I've bought all the clothes from your back catalogues all the way from when you debuted! Your 2009 summer catalogue was absolutely to die for!

-Kamomo, still surprised by the woman's sudden behaviour can only let a small 'uhhh?' sound-
-the woman stops holding her hand to compose herself for a second-

woman: Let me introduce myself. I'm Madelene Awesome. I'm also known as The Vulture. I run this establishment.

Iscariot85: She's my sister.

-both TerryAA and Kamomo quickly turn to Iscariot85 when he said that-

TerryAA and Kamomo: Your SISTER!!

Madelene: That's Right~!

-screen fades to black-
-story cuts to a commercial-
-maybe a commercial for the release of Morning Musume's new album, 10 My Me-

Narrator: The last time we saw Iscariot85 and his friends, they were inside the ice cream parlour while a robbery in progress...

TerryAA: (Why are they doing this?)

Kamomo: (They're j-pop idols. They shouldn't be doing this.)

Iscariot85: (It seems like she's hesitating.)

TerryAA: (Huh?)

Iscariot85: (Look.)

-shot zooms to both of Gaki and Ai's hands shaking while holding their guns-

Kamomo: (I bet that big guy is forcing them.)

-the clerk finishes filling the bag with money and proceeds to raise up his hands)-

Man: /Get back in the car./

woman 1: /yes/

woman 2: /...yes/

-the tall man hurrily leaves the shop first and starts the car-
-woman 1 trips to the floor in panic-
-woman 1 makes eye contact with Iscariot85-

Iscariot85: (Mayuge Beeeeaaaam!)
-Iscariot85 does the pose for Mayuge Beam-

-woman 1 pauses by the surpise-

woman 2: /Hurry Gaki-san! Or they'll be in more trouble!/

-woman 2 helps her partner get up and both runs into the car-
-Iscariot85 gets up and chases after them-
-car begins to drive away-

Iscariot85: Gaki-san! Ai-chan!

-as the car drives away, in the rear seat, both Gaki and Ai remove their disguises and looks back to Iscariot85-
-the car disappears into a corner-

Iscariot85: ...

-TerryAA and Kamomo both ran out to meet up with Iscariot85-

TerryAA: They're gone.

Kamomo: I wonder why they did it.

-Kamomo lifts up a gun and hands it to Iscariot85-

Kamomo: Gaki-san dropped it. It's not real. It's just a toy.

Iscariot85: There is no doubt that they've been force to do this. And probably the other Morning Musume members are in trouble too.

-All of them goes quiet for a moment-

TerryAA: So what now?

-Iscariot85 steps forward and turns to TerryAA and Kamomo-

Iscariot85: I'm going to follow them and help them. If you want to come--

Kamomo: I'm in!

-Kamomo steps forward to Iscariot's side-

Iscariot85: How about you dood?

TerryAA: *sigh* It's just another day with Mr. Awesome.

Iscariot85: Ha ha ha! You ain't seen nothin yet.

-police sirens can be heard from far away, approaching closer-

Iscariot85: I dont know about you guys, but I don't wanna waste time talking to the cops. Let's blow this scene and we'd better hurry.

TerrAA: Ok!

Kamomo: Right behind you!

-scene of them running away from the shop and disappear into a corner-
-fades to black-

-scene fades in into a shot of a alarm clock, displaying '7o'clock-
-scene changes into a bedroom with a girl sleeping in a bed tossing and turning-

Narrator: While our heroes begins their journey to save the Morning Musume members, here begins another fan waking up from her sleep...

girl??: Oh crap! I'm soo late!

-girl?? stumbles around getting herself ready-

girl??: Penlights. Check. Money. Check. Phone. Check.

-girl?? runs out from her house and rides away on her bike-

girl??: It really was a bad idea to take a nap before the concert starts!

Narrator: Little did she know that there isn't a Morning Musume concert and she's heading straight for a cat...

girl??: huh? who said that?

-girl?? realizes the cat and pulls the brake hard, nearly falling off the bike-

girl??: Watch where ya goin'!

-cat hisses and runs away-

girl??: *sigh* It's getting dark fast.I wonder if the concert started...

-girl?? looks across the street and sees a hooded woman looking around in disarray-

girl??: What's up with her?

-the hooded woman sees girl?? and runs across the street and stops in front of her-

hooded woman: HELP ME! HELP ME!

-girl?? was surprised and realizes-

girl??: You're Sayumi!

-girl?? does the Usa-chan Peace pose-

Sayumi: Yes! Yes!

-Sayumi takes of her hood-
-girl?? looked extremely happy while holding in her excitement-

Sayumi: /Can you speak japanese?/

-girl?? struggles to respond-

girl??: /a little bit.../

Sayumi: /Please! You need to help me! My friends have disappeared!/

girl??: /Who? What happened?/

-Sayumi falls to the ground clutching in pain-

girl??: /Hey! Are you alright?!/

Narrator: Rather than waiting for the day of the concert, he actively decides on something...

Isacriot85: I'm playing Guitar Hero! Run that montage magic!

-slides in montage of Iscariot85 playing Guitar Hero for days-
-screen fades to black-
-scene fades into the front of the Mark Hamil Arena-
-Iscariot85 checks the time on his phone-

Iscariot85: I'm a little early...

-display white text subheading, "Satuday 5:50pm"-
-Iscariot85 looks at his surroundings. No other people are around-

Iscariot85: I knew it. Another cancelation. *sigh*

Narrator: Just as Iscariot85 expected, there wasn't a concert being held tonight. But just as he was preparing to leave, a girl wearing pink heels turned from the corner of the building, approaching Iscariot85. Her overall outfit seemed like she was also expecting a Morning Musume concert tonight. She wore a Reina printed T-shirt and a short skirt that screams out that she's fashionably late.

Iscariot85: Or in this case, fashionably early.

-the girl stops in front of the double doors of the lobby and tries to open it-

Iscariot85: There's nobody in there.

girl: That's lame. It'd be nice to really see them, live, here in our town.

Iscariot85: Oh well. What are ya gonna do? It's the Up Front Works after all.

girl: Ha ha ha! I guess you're right.

-Iscariot85 looks away for a moment-

girl: Are you waiting for someone?

Iscariot85: Yeah. We were suppose to meet up here at six to get in the line early. But apparently, there wasnt a line to get into.

girl: Why dont you call her?

Iscariot85: No no! He's a dood. A late dood at that.

girl: I'm sure he'll show up.

Iscariot85: Hmmm... I dont really want to wait for him anymore.

girl: Then why not make the most of this night? Let's go have a shake in that ice cream parlour over there.

-girl points at a ice cream parlour across the street named, 'Chill Bill'-

girl: I still have some time to spend until my cousin picks me up at 9 o'clock.

Iscariot85: ....

Iscariot85: Fine.

-scene transitions to inside Chill Bill, both having thickshakes-
-Iscariot85 stares at the girl-

girl: Yeah?

Iscariot85: Is this a date?

girl: Nope.

Iscariot85: ??

girl: This is a way of how I deal with disappointments. I thought I would share it with you.

Iscariot85: Well, I do feel better from not seeing Morning Musume live.

girl: No sweat buddy.

-girl finishes her shake-

girl: Oh yeah, my name is Kamomo Mori. Nice to meet ya.

Iscariot85: I'm Iscariot85. Iscariot85 Awesome.

-Iscariot85 pauses and realizes-

Iscariot85: !!! You're that famous teen fashion designer.

Kamomo: That's me!

Iscariot85: You designed the oufits for Morning Musume for their latest single. Yeah?

Kamomo: That's right. I wanted to see them wearing them in person.

Iscariot85: Huh? You haven't met them?

Kamomo: No. Their contacts just gave me the girls' measurements to work on. I was really nervous because i didnt have a suitable model to make the clothes. All I did was winging it from just numbers and choice fabric patterns.

-Kamomo pauses as she watches Iscariot85 takes another sip-

Kamomo: How did you know who I was?

Iscariot85: My big sister keep mentioning about this cool teen designer that she loves. She spends half of her paycheck buying your designer clothes.

Kamomo: I'm flattered.

Iscariot85: Don't be. Now her room is overflowed with clothes. She even asked me to leave some of them in my room.

Kamomo: She's quite a sister.

Iscariot85: That's only the half of it. She's--

TerryAA: There you are!

-TeryyAA enters the scene, angry-

Iscariot85: Because the last time they tried to make a concert here, only three people showed up for the show. And those three people were the both of us and that girl wearing those pink heels. So they decided to cancel the show.

TerryAA: I heard it from a friend of a friend, of a friend's cousin's friend, who's dad worked at this ramen shop, of one of the customers there, who had a sister, who's brother's friend, who worked in the UFA toilets, overheard the staff, that they will make a concert here.

Iscariot85: That sounds like a reliable source.

TerryAA: You gonna come and check it out anyway?

Iscariot85: Why not. I should get out of the house more. I'll meet ya at the Hamil Arena then, at 6 o'clock.

Fly Me to the Moon -review

And here I thought the significance of the song 'Fly me to the Moon' to me was an ending song of a great anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion. Just yesterday, I finally got a copy of a game that makes the games like 'God of War' and 'Ninja Gaiden' look like fine theater. This of course I'm talking about is SEGA's new stylish action game, Bayonetta.

During this game's gameplay preview back in the last E3, many compared this game to Devil May Cry. And you're right to notice that. Bayonetta had also the same creative director from Devil May Cry, Hideki Kamiya. After reviewing from what Capcom did with their latest DMC, Kamiya wanted to create a game that has evolved from DMC to focus more on feminine style centering a female protagonist.

It's Bayonetta making herself known to the world.

Bayonetta's setting is about Paradiso(heaven realm) and Inferno(hell realm) having a ongoing war, with the real world and purgatory as their battlefield. Totally original right? So anyway, here comes in Bayonetta, the last surviving witch from the Umbra clan stricken with amnesia. She tries to recollect her lost memory while she gives a bunch of whoop ass to both of the waring factions. During her journey has reoccurring stereotypical characters. You got a hardass black dood, a 1940s danny devito chump, a red-wearing rival witch, a lame love interest, and a little girl who looks similar to Bayonetta. I havent play too long yet but i can tell story isnt gonna be that original but it'll definitely get you to travel many different baddies in the game.

About the game itself: It's freakin awesome!
Well, that's if you dig games like DMC and Ninja Gaiden. Fans who are familiar to the series genre can expect some of the moves you can pull out from the game. I got the 360 version of the game so ill point out the control scheme by referencing the 360 pad.

A - jump
B - kick (hold to fire wepon)
Y - punch (hold to fire weapon)
X - weapon
RB - hold to lock on target
RT - dodge/Witch Time
LT - change weapons
LB - taunt (lol!)
Left stick - move
Right stick - move camera view

Like the usual of the genre, you can have many combination of flurry attacks against your opponent. Many of which are combos of weapon+punches+kicks. To add a halt to your combos, you can hold one of the punch or kick buttons to end the end early (or to chain off it) with firing your weapon. You can press punch/kick while moving the left stick in a circle to execute in 360degree shooting mode to aim baddies around you (while you press left or right in the stick to switch baddies).

is all in a day's work for Bayonetta.

Back to the combos, having a long stream of punch/kick combos sets up a attack that delivers a devastating blow to the opponent. You can immediately notice the heavy blow coming by seeing you character momentarily strip off for clothes leaving what looks a black V-shape bikini (just to note first, her clothes are made out of her magical hair). After a long chain combo, her hair goes into a portal and come out to another portal in front of the baddie looking like a huge 'hair weave' fist; or a 'hair weave' leg wearing heels. It may sound obsurd but while fighting larger baddies and bosses, you'd want to have long combos with devastating blows to end it.

The real helpful tactic while fighting is the dodge button. Pressing RT by itself just lets you dodge enemy attacks. But dodging just moments before the baddie lands a hit on you, time slows down and the stage goes purple. This mode is called Witch Time. While times slows down momentarily, your character becomes a bit faster, this means you can run up to the baddie, make a long but very fast combo and end it with a devastating blow. Time reverts back and you can repeat it as much as you want just as long you time your dodges just right to go back in Witch Time mode. And also, its absolutely free, meaning there isn't a gauge that times you while doing it.

There are many different ways while being in action in Bayonetta. The weapon button doubles a interact button and a pick up button. The things you can pick up are baddies' dropped weapons, with each of them have a very unique style of using them. There is also a bar adjacent to your health meter. This is your magic gauge. What it does is while you chain successful blows to your opponent, the gauge fills. Once it fills, you get Bayonetta close to the baddie and press Y and B together. This activates the Torture Attack. The opponent is placed inside a torture device, and with a little bit of repeated presses of the B button, the attack increases and you get a wonderful bloody animation of damage.

Bayonetta is split up into chapters containing many verses in between. After clearing each verse you'll be given a medal. And after clearing that chapter, the game accumulate your medals from the chapter's verses and gives you an overall score. Sometimes while it calculates the accumulated verses, there are some medals displayed in black. This means there are some optional verses that you can clear later on your 2nd playthrough, hence giving this game some replayability. Also, after the end of each chapter, a short shooting minigame can be played. It's played by how many 'bullets' that you have collected in the chapter. Shoot enough baddies on the screen gets you to get some points to buy items or just change them into halos(currency of the game).

There is also a shop located in different points of the map called the Gates of Hell. It looks a bar, but it's really a front for a weapon and item shop. As you get through the game, there are a few weapons will be available for you to purchase. You can also buy recover and life enhancing lollipops. Buy accessories to add more punch during your fights. There is also a special section where you can buy new flashy moves to add your repertoire of baddie slaying.

The set pieces of the game are nicely detailed while you tour the European terrain. You get to cross the city streets of Vigrid, tour active caverns and explore gothic ruins. But all this limits you to move from corridor to open-room pathways. You can also destroy pots and benches to get some ingredients for alchemy. And there are some objects on the field that you can pick up and toss them on baddies. You can tell by a fight coming if you approach a larger open space, so be prepared.

What makes this game made more interesting are the set pieces when fighting bosses. Sure there are some mini-bosses in the chapters too but the real boss fights are fought in a huge scale. Even different stages of the fights is having the boss pick up the land you are standing on and you try to land hits while being tossed around. During and near the end of the boss fight, there is move you can do called Climax Mode. What it is, is that you get to execute a number of quick time event presses on the pad to make large (or even decapitating) damage to the boss. This is both quick exciting and pleasing to watch. Almost all mini boss and big boss ends up Bayonetta removes her hair clothes to help summon Infernal Demons. One of these is a bigass 'hair weave' dragon (and a bird sometimes)that just brutally crush the boss. While this happens, you can get more halos by pressing the X button.

This was a pleasure to play and own. Though the story maybe a bit lacking with still shot cutscenes and lack of better voice acting. But what really gets you going is the many different stylish moves you can acquire and the insanely larger than your 'three storey house' bosses. Now I can't wait to finish it because I heard that the last few chapters is gonna eat my face lol~! This game is now set the standard to the extreme stylish action genre. Even you aren't familiar to this type of game, pick it up, and you'll be in awe by the hilariousness and craziness that is Bayonetta.

Thumbs up: Stylish movelist, crazy Quick Time Events, jazzy j-pop and larger than life bosses.

Thumbs down: Still shot cutscenes, lame dialogue, story at times is hard to follow.

Why Can't Women Stand Out -Review

It's finally here~~ Morning Musume's latest single, Onna ga Medatte Naze Ikenai~~

Before I start this review, let me take you back the end of last year when the name of the song was anounnced. Immediately, the H!O forums had the impression that its gonna be another Nanchatte Renai of the sort. I, for one, expected another fast-paced pop-y MM song. Weeks later, a radio version had released in the radio show Five Stars, then later a leak was released of a cam quality of the PV. I didnt wanna spoil the fun so i resisted long enough not to watch/listen to it.

But a week ago, I just went ahead and watched the LQ quality. When i watched it, I only wanted to analyse the song rather than the PV. I have to admit, it was hard to get into it straight away (which is unheard of, even for me as a momusu fan). I had to listen to it again by extracting the audio from it and put it in my mp3 player. While putting the song in 'repeat' helped alot to get this song into perspective. Holding back my comments about this song until the higher quality of the PV was released today. Now I can finally review this new single.

The Song:
This song is what i expected from our current lineup of Momusu. Which is, like the last few singles, give out the theme of maturity.

Q: Have they succeded?
A: Yes.

Q: Did they deliver what they want out of this song?
A: Very Yes.

Q: Do I like it?
A: Kind of

The song starts off with a rumble of acoustics and high pitched sythesizers. Immediately i thought this song was gonna kick ass. But when it came to the verses, it kinda slowed down for me. I guess it's probably to let the audience feel the sexyness of their voice so we wont miss a second of it. But i already heard that in Nanchatte Renai. What saved those parts was the acoustics doing its thing. It really helped build up to the chorus.

The chorus itself was really lacking for me. It hurts me to say it, seriously. I have no problem with all of them singing at the same time like in Nanchatte Renai or Shoganai Yume Oibito, but this song's chorus felt like they just wanted to just shout it out. Dont get me wrong, there are some good shouting choruses in their old singles (Ai Areba Its Alright, Go Girl Koi no Victory and Ambitious! Yashinteki de Ii Jan).

I see Sayumi gets another "Ahn~" line.I can feel that she's probably tired of it by now. Ah well, she looked cute doing it lol.

Here's to add her collection of "Help Me!" and "Ah~"

There's a part of the music that I actually cant get use to but I'll save for the review of the promotional video.

The PV:
UFA has finally shelled out some cash to make a decent setting for the video. But, somehow it feels all too familiar? Maybe an inspiration from and old PV? Does it include bright background lights, dancing the flamingo dance in red dresses, and have fire hands?

The theme of the video was obviously a runway/fashion model motif. The catwalk itself was long and wide, and has different shades of red by the overhead lights that stream on it. The shots of them walking on it were ok. The slo-mo effect was a bit over used even when they were making their pose at the end of the runway. Good thing these shots were only shown during the verses of the song. It was nice to see each member get their own shot walking (slo-mo) and get their own pose (slo-mo). What actually annoyed me about the slo-mo was the part of the music when you hear the high-pitched sound, it sounds like it stuttered which sometimes made these good but it really annoying to me. The I'm part I'm talking about is:

Close up shots this time was really nice, considering that they look absolutely stunning in their 'fluffy' costumes. Thats one big ass disco ball in the background:

The make up scenes was a fresh change from their previous PVs. Whats a fashion show motif if there arent scenes of models putting on their make up? The girls' scenes of them putting on their make up was done beautifuly. We can all pick our favourite shots of the girls and who looked the cutest. Votes are on Eri and Linlin. You can see a change from these shots compared to the runway ones coz of the natural orange hue that come fromt he lights on their mirror. I think it gave their skin more smoother look and made it glow.

Normally I give credit in some of the choreography they do in their PVs. But this time around, this has got to be the weakest of them all. There was no defining movement that went with the song's chorus. It was almost flaily. I'll give it more consideration once I see their group shot version of the PV.

Overall:
This was a really so-so release. The song was okay. Some might say that this is their best yet. But to me, there are alot of other singles that places on top. It's quite cool that Tsunku didnt slow down the rhythm of the release since Kimagure Princess and keep it that way! The PV was pretty much the same formula but had better set mixed with good 'makeup shots', not just the standard group-shot/solo-shot. I guess the PV director finally listened to us that we wanted something more from our comments about the recent PVs. Good Job you.

Thumbs up: Rhythm of the song was great and the PV was an improvement with better post production effects.

Momusu will be back on Utaban 02/02/2010 ~!!!!

Mark your calendars and set your egg timers! Morning Musume will appear again in UTABAN~!!!

The current 8 member lineup

It has two long years since Morning Musume's last appearance on Utaban. Why is that? Is it mainly because of the current Momusu members seem to be younger and not suitable for Taka-san's taste? Is it because the best members were gone and the current did give so much flavour to him? Whatever the reason, next week on Utaban, Morning Musume may have to give it another shot to give a lasting impression to the Utaban crew.

Morning had a long history in Utaban and was apparently the most look forward guest back in their hayday. What stemed from their each appearances of the show was to bring out each member's personalities and almost make a lasting 'recurring joke', like Johnson and Konakki jijii. As a younger fan of Momusu, watching their old episodes, while watching them play seat deciscion games, pick on Kei-chan, and generally tease all the members at the same time was an absolute blast experiencing the show.

But after a many gradutations of Taka-san's favourite members, Taka-san had almost little compatibility relating to the newer members. This then resulted to shorter talks and screen time in the show and the attention divert more on special side guests while Momusu can mostly watch. I really hope this pattern doesn't repeat this time around.

Q: Am I excited?
A: Yes!

Q: How will it turn out?
A: I don't know...

In my opinion, Morning Musume had slowly rose up since their Onna ga Sachi Are lineup. And during this time, the members have more variety to their personalities and popularity. This is what I hope Taka-san should see how much they have grown. Since now they putting back again their image back on the show business world as they strive to be number one again.

Now for something oddly related to the latest Momusu news:

1) Did ya notice since Morning Musume's current lineup comparing to the lineup when they first debuted for the first time? They both have 8 members!! SHOCK SHOCK!!!

I dont remember exactly how i got to know the existence of this video but i was glad watching it. This video helped me get to know some of the members that I'm not too familiar with at the time. All i can do is to sit there and watch in awe on the adventures they're having and wishing i was with them at the time.

First of all, i want to give a shout out to H!F for subbing this Momusu vid.

The beginning part of the vid was mostly alot of the girls having fun in a water park in Hawaii. Since i guess they were finishing up after taking photos for their photobooks (i guess) and they needed to get some well deserved fun. And during this time, they decided on who's going with who for tomorrow's special activity. It was probably gonna be interesting since some of the pairs were Eri-Koharu, Reina-Sayu and Yossie-Gaki-san. It couldn't be too challenging for the following day for them right?

The activity was having Momusu split into 2-man groups and one staying at the 'home base'. The groups are then separated in a car ride to different locations in Oahu Island. The idea was for each group make their way back to the home base, Tantalus, via their individual highlight spots and buy souviners with the money that the staff have provided. They are required to take alot of photos during their trip and try to use as much English they can utter. The girls arrived to their own starting points, hilarity ensues.

This vid was an absolute blast to watch. We can all watch our favorite members handle on their own while communicating to the locals with Engrish. Right at the start, Yossie was giving Gaki-san a bit of grief by about to spend a chunk of their money on taxi rides! glad they didnt though lolz~

The Ai-Mitsui team had a few hiccups at the start by heading two different ways. Their first location was to reach to a small mountain and take a scenic photo of the ocean. But instead walked to the beach instead then later climbed the wrong mountain. EL-Oh-EL!

Eri and Koharu didnt have too much touble starting off. But when it comes to waiting for buses...... waiting can be a trying thing.

There wasnt much too interesting to say about the Reina-Sayu team without spoiling anything. they had the most time waiting to go to their locations and the most time taken to complete their appointed task. But while on the way, they might as well make the most of it.

This vid was something i had wished had done if i had alot of spare time doing. i dont really mind getting lost and try to make my way back. But lucky for them, they can call Mikitty at anytime while the cameraman cant say anything to help the girls (but i bet they did anyway). Spending one day by themselves can be very trying for these girls but both them and us fans can enjoy every moment of it.

It's both hilarious and crazy when Morning Musume are seen as tourists. So if you havent watch this, watch it now!

Looking back from 2009 had me goin on a Momusu 101 experience. Now this year I'll continue supporting the girls whatever they may release this year. And also, we'll all wish no more graduations this year. Unlike last year, there were graduations like crazy. Let's all support the new H!P lineup this year and pray for #1 spots in the charts too~!

Year End 2009 - my momusu journey

This year has been a great stimulation for me. I've finished my studies and got to experience the awesomeness that is Morning Musume. The most searches through all of this year had included the words:

What's you're most used words that you've typed in your search engine this year?

I think it was about February or April that i happened to start liking Morning Musume. And ever since i watched my first video of MM goodness, 'Joshi Kashimashi Monogatari subbed PV', i've been goin' into a MM expedition finding out their very very COLORFUL history. This includes from their early days with Nakazawa as their leader to auditions of new members and graduations of older members. i've also learned many inside jokes only us fans can understand like 'Why is Iida called Johnson?' and 'Which member loves bananas, and who absolutely hates it?'.

These kind of things was just the small part of my very large addiction of the MM experience. My first addiction was the singles that they produced all these years. I was totally living under a huge rock. It was the kind of j-pop that tickles me just right that then becomes a everyday fix of MM. I remembered for one day, i decided to watch the PVs of MM from start to finish. I got the MM wiki page to help me to go down the list of their singles. It was totally the stimulation for the senses. As i go through each one, I checked what year certain singles are, and i try to remember what i was doing at the time when i hadnt been listening to the song. For example, Shabondama was released in 2003, during that time i was in my final year of high school and all of my classmates are worried about the HSC. And during that year, the 6th generation members had freshly joined all fans await their future in momusu.

The next step to the momusu experience was trying to get to know the members. Reading the wiki for each of the members hadnt really given the closure that i need to like their characters. So the next best thing i did is to watch their publication in TV. And boy i was in for a treat! MM were in a whole bunch of commercials, variety shows and performed a whole bunch of specials that got the show raise that ratings like crazy. They were indeed a j-pop phenomenon! what got me understand MM first was the music fighter episode of the quick rundown of their history where you visually see the members change through the years. but it was the Mechaike specials that got me feed in each of their characters as a MM member. then in youtube i searched videos of each member and see why each of them are special. In the midst of my video hunting, while saving videos into '.flv' files, i've stumbled the crazy existence of Utaban.
You cannot have been a fan of Morning Musume without seeing at least one episode of Utaban featuring Morning Musume. this show had opened the door of japanese variety talk shows. This show had the strongest influence in MM's image as Taka-san constantly pamper the cute members and 'wildly' aggravate his lesser favorites. Just as much as MM's own show, Hello! Morning, you can see the individuality from each of the members blossom as years go by. For example, Kei Yasuda had started as a person who gets the least attention, but since Iida became leader, Taka-san's constant probing of her existence had became a long staple in the Utaban-MM experience. It is a shame now that the current MM hadnt got back to Utaban for a long while now. I really hope they do, coz i can see potential of more mayhem if get to mix Taka-san with Junjun and the current Sayumi.

VIETNAM! BAM! BAM! BAM!

This year has been one hell of a ride. Looking back now and i cant believe how much downloaded content i have now in my computer with all those videos, images and audios i've hunted throughout this year. Even at some points when my internet is capped, i still go crazy slowly downloading youtube vids. And also, Hello! Online has been a godsend to my MM fandom. This site has been my Hello! Project news feed for on the minute of news that UFA has posted in their websites, and other feeds like that. Things like new PVs and shocking announcements of graduations. And the great people in H!O devoted their precious time translating relevant news of events happening. Reading forum members opinions of topics was a blast to read. This forum is just as great compared to the NoobToob website. It's too bad im a bit of a lurker around the site but i hope to be more involve in discussions more rather than just make long ass comments in the main page of certain news topics and image hunting.

Now reflecting back this year, i had spent alot of time and effort catching up to the MM fandom, and it will continue to next year as well. I'm curently self-teaching myself some japanese and I'll try to learn alot next year. Learning japanese will help alot especially when it ocmes to special MM vids that havent been subbed yet.

I hope 2010 is gonna one sweet ride for Morning Musume, and I'll happily ride with them too~!

The King of What?

Today, while searching around in my foxtel, i've stumbled to a video game documentary called the King of Kong. I've heard from NoobToob that this is one of the best documentarys around since the theme is about Donkey Kong. To give a quick gist of it, this school teacher Steve Wiebe wanted to beat the high score in Donkey Kong set by Billy Mitchel, who also got the perfect score in Pac-man. This documentary is mainly about Steve's trials and tribulations while trying to achieve his goal. This documentary is a must see. Even if you dont play games, this is one hell of a ride coming from a documentary.

So after watchin the movie, I hopped in the net and downloaded the rom of Donkey Kong thinking, "How hard can it be?" Dood it's hard. So hard that i cant even pass level 3. I could pass it if i had more patience but for now, Donkey can have the princess. Well, mad props for Steve for goin up to Billy for taking his title briefly. Makes me wanna think if i try to set a high score in some of the games i play. Maybe Pac-Man Championship Edition maybe ( >_>)

Anyway, watch the King of Kong: Fistful of Quarters~! It's awesome~!
